Mississippi's 30 state-licensed casinos reported revenue of $179.6 million in November, down about $5.8 million from the same month last year.
Most of the decline again came in the Mississippi River region, from Tunica to Natchez. The 19 river casinos reported combined revenue of $94 million, down $4.2 million compared to November 2009.

Rhodes professor named film expert
Liz Daggett, assistant professor of art at Rhodes College, has been selected as an Expert in Documentary Film by the U.S. Department of State to travel overseas in 2011 as part of the American Documentary Showcase.
In addition, a film that Daggett worked on called "Ranching and the Race to Save the Range" was among 20 films selected to travel with the 2011 showcase.
The State Department funds the program, which seeks to highlight the value of documentaries in fostering understanding, cooperation, dialogue and debate.
Daggett also serves as director of the Center for Outreach in the Development of the Arts at Rhodes.
