Police Find Body of West Memphis Woman - KATV

West Memphis police have discovered the body of a missing West Memphis woman.

Maggie Wright, 58, was last seen leaving Harrah's Casino in Tunica between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19. She was reported missing the following day. Around noon on December 19, Wright's body was discovered near railroad tracks in West Memphis. 

Officials have issued a Capital

Murder search warrant for 36-year-old Cedric M. Burks of West Memphis in connection with Wright's murder.

Investigators say Burks is a parolee and on active supervision of the Arkansas Department of Corrections. He may be in Wright's white 2000 Lincoln LS with Mississippi tags DFN 374. Officers warn that he is extremely dangerous. 

A team of investigators from parts of Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi have been working the case. Authorities say there could be additional arrests. The case remains open and under investigation.
