Developers behind the rejected Foxwoods Philadelphia Casino want regulators to reconsider their proposal.

Philadelphia Entertainment & Development Partners filed a petition Monday saying it has received commitments for debt-and-equity funding.

On Dec. 16, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board revoked the group’s license, citing missed deadlines

and other issues.

Caesars Entertainment, which joined the Foxwoods effort in the fall, has “prepared the necessary work and taken the necessary steps to address and satisfy all the unresolved matters cited by the board,” it said in a release.

Among the additional information is a pledge by Caesars to fund any shortfall in equity required.

Developers, who say they are in position to start construction, are asking regulators to rescind the license revocation order.

The casino was approved in 2006 for South Columbus Boulevard in South Philadelphia, but was slowed by neighborhood opposition and, later, delays in getting financing.

Originally, the casino was to have had 1,500 slots and create 1,000 full-time jobs.
