River City reported $13.7 million in revenue in December 2010.
Revenue at St. Louis’ six casinos rose 5 percent in December, thanks to River City Casino, which Pinnacle Entertainment opened last spring in Lemay.
Total area gaming revenue was $87.6 million in December, compared with $83.5 million during the same month in 2009, according to figures released Monday by the Missouri Gaming Commission and Illinois Gaming Board.
For all of 2010, local gaming revenue rose 4 percent to $1.09 billion, up from $1.05 billion in 2009.
River City brought in $13.7 million in revenue last month, up 2 percent from $13.5 million in November.
The other casinos’ results are:
- Harrah’s in Maryland Heights reported $21.1 million in revenue in December, down 8 percent from $22.8 million in December 2009.
- Las Vegas-based Pinnacle’s Lumiere Place in downtown St. Louis brought in $13.7 million in revenue last month, down 22 percent from $17.5 million the same month in 2009.
- Ameristar St. Charles reported $23.4 million in revenue in December, down 2 percent from $23.9 million in December 2009.
- Alton Argosy had $5.6 million in revenue last month, down 6 percent from $5.9 million in December 2009.
- Casino Queen reported $10.1 million in revenue in December, down 14 percent from $11.6 million in the same month in 2009.
- President Casino, which Pinnacle closed this past summer, had $1.8 million in revenue December 2009.
