A west Sioux Falls casino was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday.

Sioux Falls police were called at 1:25 a.m. to the Easy Dough Casino, 2313 W. 12th St. Someone had entered the casino, displayed a black handgun and demanded money from the clerk, who put the money in a plastic grocery bag, according to Sgt. Jim

Severson. The clerk was ordered to the back of the business, and the suspect left with an undetermined amount of cash.

No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a white man about 5-foot-5 and 150 pounds. He was wearing a multi-colored bandanna, a grey zip-style coat with a hood, white sunglasses and gloves and was carrying a black semi-automatic-style handgun.

The suspect possibly left in an older light-colored Ford Taurus.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
