Two construction workers suffered serious injuries Monday at Delaware Park in Stanton when a roof collapsed and they fell 20 feet to the concrete.

The injuries to the unidentified 30-year-old New Castle man and 46-year-old Middletown man were not considered life-threatening, state police Cpl. Jeffrey

Hale said.

The incident, which remains under investigation, occurred about 4 p.m. as the men worked on the roof of a tunnel that leads to the casino's rear entrance. They work for Marenalley Construction of New Castle.
