Within the next couple months, the long-awaited hotel, shopping mall, and new Emeril restaurant will open to the public.
Inside the casino itself will be a new high-limit gaming room called the Paiza room.
It will feature 17 additional roulette, blackjack, and baccarat tables.
"That's part of our new 29 tables which will be opening up on May 27, bringing our grand total to 129 tables here at the Sands," said Sands president Bob DeSalvio.
On June 4, Emeril's third restaurant at the Sands will open its doors. It will be his first-ever Italian restaurant.
"It's what Emeril would serve at his home. That's why he coined the name Emeril's Italian Table," said DeSalvio.
On May 27, the much-anticipated Sands hotel will welcome guests. It will feature 300 rooms, 22 suites, and meeting space.
"It'll really be a nice space and a great addition for guests that want to stay overnight," said DeSalvio.
Visitors to the Sands will be able to shop, too. A 200,000 square foot shopping mall is taking shape.
"It's gonna translate into about 30-25 stores, nationally-known outlet retailing," said DeSalvio.
No names yet. The Sands is still in the lease negotiating process.
Some stores will open November 1, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
The grand opening will be in February.
