Here’s what is going on at Inland area casinos in the next week:

FANTASY SPRINGS

‘80s boy band New Edition will “Cool It Now” in the desert Friday, Aug. 21 at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio. The group, which includes members Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe, are known for catchy songs such as “Candy Girl,” “Mr. Telephone Man” and “Hit Me Off.” Another member of the group, Bobby Brown, will not be a part of the show.

8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, 84-245 Indio Springs Drive, Indio. $49-$79. 760-342-5000, fantasyspringsresort.com.

PECHANGA

Singer/songwriter Diana Krall was set to perform in the Inland area in 2014 before an illness caused her to cancel all of her tour dates. Now she’s back at full health and ready to perform at two Inland locations this weekend: Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio and Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula.

The new dates are part of her “Wallflower” tour, which supports the album of the same name. Some of Krall’s biggest hits include "We Just Couldn't Say Goodbye" and “California Dreamin’.” Note: The Pechanga show is listed as sold out, but tickets may become available closer to the showtime.

8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, Fantasy Springs. $49-$89.

7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, Pechanga Resort & Casino, 45000 Pechanga Parkway, Temecula. $80-$105, sold out, 951-693-1819, pechanga.com.

SAN MANUEL

Some would say the key to success in improv comedy is the ability to make fun of yourself. The guys behind the show “Impractical Jokers” know that fact all too well. The comedy group The Tenderloins take hidden camera pranks to a whole new level with hilarious situations forced upon a member by the rest of the group. If someone fails, they are forced into an embarrassing punishment. The San Manuel show will feature all-new material filmed just for the live tour.

7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino, 777 San Manuel Blvd., Highland. $40-$60, 21 and older only. 800-359-2464, sanmanuel.com

SOBOBA

The competition with male revue shows has never been hotter. Literally, with acts such as Chippendales, Thunder From Down Under and Fifty Shades of Men hitting SoCal venues. Soboba Casino is going to be home to yet another show: Men of X. If the promotional pictures are any indication, expect some “300” style Spartan outfits, complete with rock hard abs and a tiny amount of clothing.

8 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Aug. 21-22, Soboba Casino, 23333 Soboba Road, San Jacinto. $15. 951-665-1000, soboba.net.

SPOTLIGHT 29

Stand-up comedian Sinbad has enjoyed a long career of interesting projects. Fans might first remember him from “The Cosby Show” spinoff “A Different World.” He then transitioned into feature films with roles in “Necessary Roughness,” “First Kid,” “Jingle All the Way” and “Houseguest.”

8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, Spotlight 29 Casino, 46200 Harrison Place, Coachella. $25-$35. 760-775-5566, spotlight29.com.
