The Boston Globe reports Judge Janet Sanders ruled Thursday that the Massachusetts Gaming Commission acted properly when they issued a casino license to Wynn Resorts.

Boston Mayor Martin Walsh argued that the resort-style casino would further complicate traffic in the city’s Charlestown neighborhood, a short distance from the proposed site on the Mystic River waterfront.

City officials say they are currently reviewing the judge’s order and weighing options to appeal.

Wynn Resorts beat out Mohegan Sun and Suffolk Downs for the sole Greater Boston casino license.

A similar lawsuit filed by the city of Revere was also dismissed.
