DETROIT - A computer glitch at MotorCity Casino which trapped gamblers’ cash inside slot machines has been fixed.

According to MotorCity Casino, there was a problem with their ‘ticket out system.’  Gamblers were not able to print out their cash ticket from slot machines.

The casino has worked with its vendor to repair the problem.  Gamblers are being told to not leave their slot machines and now gamblers are allowed back on the first floor to continue play. 

Several gamblers called Local 4, saying they’ve waited for several hours to collect their cash.  Casino spokesperson Jacci Woods has apologized for the inconvenience.
