There are some parts of the Southern California casino experience that have been back for a while. You can hit the slot machines, dine in at a restaurant and in some spots, sip on a drink poolside.

One thing that’s been a little slower to return here is entertainment. At some casino properties, entertainment has returned to a degree, but those big concerts dominated by big name artists have yet to return.

Las Vegas has had its own challenges in bringing back shows.

Beyond Southern California… 

Las Vegas Sands Corp. is leaving its namesake city. The company is selling off The Venetian, The Palazzo and the Sands Expo and Convention Center in a more than $6 billion deal to focus on faster growth markets such as Asia. CNN has more.
